I resisted reading this book for a long time, which was a great mistake.It is a fictional story about a management team, where a new CEO exposes them the 5 dysfunctions a team has. The story is only there to show with examples all of them, and it does that perfectly.The thing is, if you work in an office environment, collaborating with others, you pretty much have experienced most of them already. After reading it, I started seeing things everywhere. A snarky comment from that guy? That shows lack of trust! Our grumpy developer is refusing to commit again? Our team does not have healthy conflicts? All of them appeared familiar to me. I even was an active part on some dysfunctions. So this book is really good in opening your eyes, and helping you become more effective in the context of a team.
Das Buch hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es ist einfach und gut lesbar geschrieben. Die eigentliche Sachbuch-Charakteristik ist in eine schöne Fabel eingebunden, die sich sogar recht spannend liest und bei der man jede Menge lernt. Natürlich ist es die "perfekt" und alles könnende Hauptdarstellerin, aber daher ist das Buch ja auch mit Fabel überschrieben. Es taugt sogar als nette Urlaubs- oder Bettlektüre.
Sehr interessantes Buch über Leadership. Es werden die 5 typischen Säulen der Führung bzw potentielle Felder in Form einer Geschichte erklärt. Liest sich eher wie ein Roman.Würde es jeden empfehlen der sich mit Führung und Leadership beschäftigt.
I have read many management and leadership books and most of them are very theoretical like a course book in university. Mr. LENCIONI has done a wonderful job by explaining the strategies with his amazing story telling skills.I loved reading this book, kept me engaging all the time (Never got bored at any page while reading). I would recommend this for all aspiring leaders.
Das Buch beschreibt sehr anschaulich wie wichtig es ist die geeignete Führungskraft zu gewinnen um ein Turn Around Management Projekt aufgesetzt und umgesetzt werden muss. Neben Lebenserfahrung, der Fähigkeit Charaktere richtig zu lesen zu können und mit einer strategische Herangehensweise Verhaltensmuster von Mitarbeiern und Manafern zu ändern wird gut beschrieben. Das Buch liest man gern zügig durch und es ist erfrischen zu erkennen wie sich Problemstellingen ähneln und Lösungsansätze gut und realistisch beschrieben werden
Das beste Team Building Büch, das ich je gelesen habe. Wenn jemand wissen möchte, warum seine Organisation dysfunktional ist, dann steht hier die Antwort.
The style is readable and clear. I find the format of a story followed up by the clear and direct principles engaging and reinforcing. I would recommend this to anyone working on teams. It’s worth reading as a team in order that everyone understands the typical pitfalls and rewards of working together as a healthy team.
A very worthwhile buy. Easy to read . Lencioni has the gift to turn a complicated topic into a great story for everyone to enjoy. While reading it the users find themselves reading a story about other people's lives but start thinking about their own and how to apply Lencioni's findings as soon as the read is finished. Influential while simple.
